Spartan Sheds builds custom machinery sheds, workshops, garages and carports in Gin Gin and the surrounding Bundaberg Region hinterland. Every building is engineered to the site's wind classification and soil, approved through Bundaberg Regional Council, and built by our own crew.
Open grazing country and ridgelines have little shielding, which lifts the design wind speed compared with a sheltered town block. We set terrain category and shielding from your actual site.
Gin Gin is close enough to the coast that Category C loading generally still applies. Footing size, tie-down and fixing patterns are engineered accordingly.
Rural zoning generally allows a much larger footprint before planning triggers apply, but building approval is still required. We handle the engineering and documentation either way.

The majority of the Bundaberg Region we build in — including the coast, Bargara, Innes Park, Burnett Heads, Moore Park Beach, Elliott Heads and Gin Gin - falls under Category C (cyclonic) wind loading under AS/NZS 1170.2. The classification only drops back to Wind Region B roughly 100 km from the coast. That cyclonic rating changes footing size, tie-down detail and cladding fixing patterns. Every Spartan Sheds is engineered to site specific wind classification confirmed for your actual lot - never a generic kit rating.
