Spartan Sheds builds garages, carports, patios, boat and caravan bays in Bargara and the Coral Coast. Coastal builds are engineered for Category C cyclonic wind loading and specified for salt exposure, approved through Bundaberg Regional Council and built by our own crew.
The Bundaberg coastline falls under Category C wind loading. Footings, tie-downs and cladding fixings are all heavier than an inland equivalent - one of the clearest reasons a generic kit rating does not belong on a Bargara block.
Beachfront and near-coast lots need the right COLORBOND® specification and fastener class. Mixing a good roof sheet with the wrong screws is the most common cause of early coastal corrosion.
Newer coastal estates have smaller lots, so setbacks and total site cover are the limiting factor more often than budget. We size the building against your lot's rules before quoting.

The majority of the Bundaberg Region we build in — including the coast, Bargara, Innes Park, Burnett Heads, Moore Park Beach, Elliott Heads and Gin Gin - falls under Category C (cyclonic) wind loading under AS/NZS 1170.2. The classification only drops back to Wind Region B roughly 100 km from the coast. That cyclonic rating changes footing size, tie-down detail and cladding fixing patterns. Every Spartan Sheds is engineered to site specific wind classification confirmed for your actual lot - never a generic kit rating.
